Other & Visiting Clinicians

Hi, my name is William Hedges. I am a Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner employed by LSCFT. I have worked in the NHS since 1994. I have been lucky enough to work across a number of different services. My current role is to support adults who are registered to Surgeries in the West Dales Primary Care Network, Lunesdale, Bentham and Sedbergh, with their mental health needs. I can offer assessments, short term interventions, as well as being able to signpost you to services, which can best support and help you with your needs. I have experience of working with people with a variety of mental health conditions, including, depression, anxiety, bereavement as well as more complex presentations. I am not able to work with anyone under the age of 18 as there are other specialised NHS services available for this age group, please ask your GP/Health Provider about these services if you are a family member needs this support. If you wish to see me, please ask any of the health professionals at the surgery to send me a referral and I will then be in touch to see whether I can support you.
